A story of freshness

Semaphore Candles & Co (previously Melting Memories) began as an Australian home based business  in 2013 as a ‘self improvement’ course done with a good friend because of our love of burning candles.  What began as making for myself and family grew into a much larger hobby – still home based and individually ‘hand poured’ candles but with many more fragrances and larger variety of glassware.  I have travelled to all parts of South Australia selling my products and have met some amazing people along the way.  In May 2017 I had the opportunity for my dream to open a shop come to light (and on Semaphore Road) so with the encouragement of family and friends we opened on 3rd June.
 

Every candle has been made with quality ingredients and glassware starting with 100% Natural Soy Wax and hand wicking each jar.
 

To ensure that there is ‘something for everyone’ I also expanded my range to soy melts and diffuser oils and accessories and the occasional batch of homemade Goat’s milk and Olive Oil Soaps.
 

I encourage feedback from customers regarding any problems with any of my products or new ideas – I’ve implemented some ideas, new fragrances etc based on customer discussions and look forward to many more suggestions in the future.
