Soy Wax is a completely natural made from soybeans and burns cooler than paraffin wax, therefore increasing the burning time of your candle. Soy wax is non-toxic and non-carcinogenic & is an excellent choice for those who wish to burn environmentally friendly candles. Little or no soot Easier on people with breathing problems Easy cleanup with soap and warm water Scents that last all the way to the bottom giving you hours of enjoyment.
  • Soy Candle FIRST BURN
Candles have a burning memory which is why some candles burn down the middle leaving the outside intact. With Soy Candles it is important that for the first burn you burn until the entire top is liquid. This is only necessary for the first burn so burn only when you will have it burning for probably an hour depending on size of diameter.
  • Wick Care:
Trimming the wick to 6mm makes for a safer burn, cuts down on soot and promotes a longer candle life.
  • Why is there a black residue around the rim?
Prior to lightly your candle and in between burns ensure the wick is no longer than 5mm in length, untrimmed wicks will cause smoke and darken the inside of your glass. To remove black residue on the inside of your candle jar wipe clean with a dampen paper towel.
  • Can I re-use my candle glass?
Yes, you can re-use your glass candle jar by cleaning it out using hot soapy water. Heat test is advised prior to refilling: fill jar with warm water, then hot water followed by boiling water – refill if no cracking occurs. Do not pour liquid wax down your drains as it will solidify and clog your sink/drains.
